The Story Behind Bindi
Bindi was founded in Italy in 1946, and the business has spent the decades since building a reputation among some of the country’s finest restaurants and hotels. It is not a small local bakery scaled up. It is one of Italy’s most respected patisserie houses, built on recipes and techniques refined over generations and produced to a standard that holds up from freezer to table.
As a Bindi desserts distributor, we did not take this range on lightly. We looked for a brand that could match the consistency our trade clients expect from us, and Bindi’s reputation in professional kitchens across Italy and beyond made the decision straightforward. That same reputation is now what we bring to hospitality businesses across our own region, which is where our role as a distributor really begins.
Our Role as Your Bindi Distributor
Frozen patisserie and gelato need to move through a proper cold chain from the moment they leave Italy to the moment they reach a venue’s freezer, and any break in that chain shows up on the plate. As one of the appointed Bindi UK distributors for the Wales and the South West of England, we manage that cold chain ourselves rather than handing it to a third-party carrier.
We also import directly from Bindi rather than through an intermediary, so every product on our list has come through one relationship we control from end to end. Getting that relationship right for our clients also means making sure the commercial side works in their favour, which brings us to pricing.
