Chateau Yon Figeac Grand Cru Classe is a blend of 88% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc and 6% Petit Verdot grapes.

Drinkability
Vinification is traditional with optical sorting. Aging 40% in new oak barrels and 60% in barrels of one or two wines, French oak, during 12 months.
The wine is bottled in the glass and has no date of expiry. We recommend to drink it from 10 years from the vintage. Aging potential 30-40 years
Store in a cool dry and dark place on it’s side.
Bouquet
The nose is expressive and complex. Wine is displaying pronounced, rich aromas of black cherry, black plum, licorice, and cedar, complemented by subtle floral and mineral touches
Palate
Medium to full-bodied. On the palate, it delivers ripe black-fruit flavors alongside integrated tannins, cocoa, and a touch of freshness. It ends with a long and velvety finish.
Pairing
Chateau Yon Figeac Grand Cru Classe is exceptional with grilled red meats, rich sauces, game dishes, and even dark chocolate desserts.
