Blanco Valduero is a 100% Albillo from Ribera del Duero , aged on its lees (bâtonnage) for a creamy texture and great aromatic depth. It comes from vineyards over 12 years old with yields of 4,500 kg/ha and is fermented with native yeasts to preserve the character of the terroir. Fresh and subtly mineral, with notes of white fruit and flowers, it has a long, clean finish. Limited edition of 50,000 bottles .
Fermentation with native yeasts to express the terroir. Aging in tanks on lees, which adds creaminess and elegance to the wine.

Drinkability
Valduero Blanco Criado Sobre Lias is bottled in glass and has no date of expiry. We recommend storage in a cool, dry place at a temperature between 5 and 25°C. Its ideal serving temperature ranges between 4ºC and 6ºC.
Bouquet
Fruity aromas with notes of pineapple and grapefruit, typical of Albillo variety.
Palate
Well balanced, with a light touch of acidity. Sweet and viscoucious.
Pairing
This is a versatile wine that will pair equally well with cured meats as well as grilled chicken and seafood paella.

This wine is only made in exceptional vintages and with very limited production that never exceeds 10,000 bottles.
The harvest is carried out by hand, with the grapes having been selected bunch by bunch before been placed in boxes of 14 kg. The 70 year old vines, from which this wine is made only produce 2 bunches of grapes per plant, imposing a deep garnet red colour to the wine.
A wonderful mixture of aromas and flavours, due to the meticulous selection of grapes, from Valduero’s oldest vineyards ( which are more than 70 years old). It ages for 48 months in oak barrels from 6 different origins, surrounded by the silence and calm of Valduero’s natural cave with constant humidity and temperature. The wine then undergoes a further 40 months of aging in the bottle.
