Drinkability
Traditional fermentation and maceration occur over roughly 25 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
Following malolactic conversion, the wine is refined in a mix of oak vats and oak barrels (typically around 40% new French oak), respecting the grape’s natural structure.
The wine is bottled in the glass and has no date of expiry. We recommend to drink it with in 13 years from the vintage.
Store in a cool dry and dark place on it’s side.
Bouquet
Aromas of ripe red cherries, blackberry compote, and dark plum. Subtle notes of violets, licorice, and sweet baking spices. Gentle undertones of mocha, espresso, and toasted oak.
Palate
On the palate medium-bodied and supple, with a refined, velvety mouthfeel and fine-grained tannins. Flavours are dominated by juicy black cherries, plums, and candied berries, balanced by touches of dark chocolate and graphite.
Finish is long and harmonious with a fresh, mineral-driven lift
Pairing
Excellent companion to roasted or grilled red meats, lamb, and game dishes.
