Drinkability
Short pump overs for a gentle extraction, aiming to preserve the wine’s natural finesse, freshness, and delicate aromatics.
The wine is typically aged in French oak barrels (approximately 50% new oak).
Reaches ideal maturity between 4 and 15 years after the vintage. While it can be enjoyed young with brief decanting, patient aging will allow it to develop beautiful tertiary notes of forest floor and tobacco.
Bouquet
The bouquet is complexed – ripe red berries, sweet raspberry purée, juicy plums, and black cherries. As well as distinct floral nuances, notably violet and sage, mixed with delicate hints of peppermint. Subtle undertones of dark chocolate, raw cocoa, nougat, and lightly toasted cedar from the French oak.
Palate
Medium-bodied with an elegant, smooth, and supple texture. It is restrained, lacking heavy extraction, and instead feels vibrant and energetic on the tongue.
Bright red and dark fruit flavors evolve into touches of dark chocolate and zesty citrus on the finish.
Features fine, powdery tannins that provide excellent structure alongside tangy, crisp acidity.
Refreshing, persistent, and highly precise, with excellent overall harmony finish.
Pairing
Chateau La Pointe Pomerol is best paired with roasted duck, pan-seared duck breast, or roasted chicken to complement the plum and berry notes.
Additionally it is great with mushroom risotto or beef stew and semi-hard, nutty cheeses.

Château Moutinot Saint-Estephe 13,5%
The geology of the Saint Estephe appellation is particularly different to its neighbouring appellations. Firstly, the average altitude is higher, with slopes which enable rainfall to drain and limestone sub-soils which bring water back up through capillarity during periods of drought. Two ledges in the shape of a half-moon from South to East, facing the Gironde River,
emphasise once again the originality of this vineyard area.
The presence of clay in Saint Estephe marks a real difference with the other terroirs. It has meant that exceptional wines could be made in very dry years.
The Saint Estèphe style of architecture in the village and in the properties adds a mineral touch which delicately punctuates the range of greens in the vineyards. It is in this special landscape that Chateau Moutinot is located, at the heart of a vineyard area which includes five classified growths and four ‘crus bourgeois exceptionnels’.
Chateau Yon Figeac Grand Cru Classe 14.5%
The wines of Château Yon-Figeac express the classicism of Saint-Emilion while adding their own touch of modernity: remarkable fruitiness, spicy notes and unprecedented freshness.
This balance and elegance, common to all vintages, constitute the identity of Château Yon-Figeac wines and are intrinsically linked to the terroir and the techniques adopted in the vineyard and cellar.
