Drinkability
The grapes undergo cold pre-fermentation maceration, stainless steel fermentation to retain fresh fruit aromas, and are then aged with oak staves or barrels.
It has an approachable peak drinking window of 3 to 5 years, but structured vintages can last through 2028 and beyond.
Bouquet
Potent and vibrant. Expect fresh, ripe blackberries and blackcurrants, beautifully layered with subtle woody notes of coffee bean, cedar, and vanilla
Palate
A lively attack of black fruits accompanied by characteristic blackcurrant leaf notes. The tannins are robust and structured, providing a long, lingering, and smooth finish.
Pairing
Pairs wonderfully with grilled or roasted red meats, braised beef, smoked brisket, game dishes, and mature cheeses.
