Drinkability
After a brief whole berry cold maceration, the first-run juice is fermented at a controlled temperature of 12 ºC. – 15 ºC this helps to preserve the Viura and Tempranillo blanco grapes varietal character.
An ideal drinking window of 1 to 3 years from the vintage date.
Bouquet
Expressive and lingering; highlights fresh orchard fruits like green pear, Granny Smith apple, and pineapple, complemented by subtle white flowers and lemon zest.
Palate
Light and silky with vibrant fruit character, crisp acidity, and a touch of minerality.
Pairing
Serve chilled as a refined aperitif or alongside seafood, green salads, tapas, and light rice dishes.

A wonderful mixture of aromas and flavours, due to the meticulous selection of grapes, from Valduero’s oldest vineyards ( which are more than 70 years old). It ages for 48 months in oak barrels from 6 different origins, surrounded by the silence and calm of Valduero’s natural cave with constant humidity and temperature. The wine then undergoes a further 40 months of aging in the bottle.

Carlos Serres Tempranillo Tinto Rioja 13.5%
Wine produced under the principle of organic viticulture and EU certified organic CPAER (Consejo de la Producción Agraria Ecológica de La Rioja). The Tempranillo grapes for this wine were sourced from a select group of growers around Haro, Rioja Alta, who have long-term exclusive contracts with the winery. The winery jointly manages the tending of all the vineyards to ensure the utm ost fruit quality, with continuous monitoring during the growing cycle.
