Drinkability
Fermented in stainless steel after gentle destemming and pressing. After a brief cold maceration, the juice ferments at a controlled temperature of no more than 26º C for 10 days.
The wine ages for 6 months in American and French oak barrel.
This Rioja is best consumed within 1 to 3 years of its vintage for the standard Joven (young) bottling. Because it is crafted to be a fresh, fruit-driven, and approachable wine, holding it longer will cause its vibrant red berry flavors to fade rather than improve.
Bouquet
Bright summer fruits including ripe blackberry, raspberry, cherry, and strawberry, backed by subtle sweet spice and floral or earthy undertones.
Palate
Crisp and fruit-driven. Juicy red cherries and plums are framed by gentle acidity, fine tannins, and a touch of minerality.
Pairing
Sweet and round wine, with soft and ripe tannins and a long and fruity aftertaste.
