Finding the place pleasant and fertile, Diomedes decided to plant the vine shoots he had brought with him as a souvenir from the distant city of Troy. A noble and international grape variety, Pinot Grigio is interesting, crisp white wine. Its name comes from the French, pin, meaning pine, relating to the shape of the Pinot grape, which resembles a pinecone. Pinot Grigio delle Venezie D.O.C.
