Followed by aging  in oak barrels for 24 months, followed by bottle refinement, which adds complexity and structure to the final product.

Ready to drink.

Bouquet

Ripe forest fruits like blackberries, black cherries, plums, and subtle hints of sweet spice.

Palate

Full body with a velvety, supple texture. It is highly approachable with moderate tannins and a well-balanced acidity that provides an elegant finish.

Pairing

Shesh i Zi, the indigenous red grape from the Erzeni Valley near Tirana, is a full-bodied, fruit-forward, and somewhat rustic wine. It pairs exceptionally well with robust Mediterranean and Balkan flavors, including grilled meats, roasted lamb, and traditional Albanian dishes like tavë kosi (baked lamb with yogurt) or savory meat byrek.
