Drinkability
Craneford fruit forms the base of this wine, fermented with 13% whole bunch. Mengler fruit also had a portion of whole bunch which helps to bring out the lovely primary fruit character of the wine. Fruit spent 7-10 days on
skins before pressing and immediate transfer on solids to seasoned French oak.
Ready to drink.
Bouquet
Notes of dark cherry, raspberry tart, blackcurrant, and subtle hints of spice and oak.
Palate
Youthful, inky yet surprisingly fresh, with a fleshy mouthfeel and velvety, well-integrated tannins.
Pairing
The balanced acidity and savory finish make it incredibly food-friendly. It pairs perfectly with grilled ribs or venison and braised beef or rich beef stews as well as dark chocolate

Legend has it that Queen Cleopatra greatly appreciated Syrah wine. In the 3rd century, Roman legionnaires brought the first strains to Sicily and, since then, Shiraz has been intertwined with the history of the most fascinating and noble island in the Mediterranean, where it was wine that saved Ulysses from the monstrous Cyclops Polyphemus. Syrah Terre Siciliane Dacastello, a tribute to the Valley of the Temples, an ode to the sun and the wind that caresses the grapes.

Greatly appreciated by Emperor Augustus, Soave is a native wine with unique colour, austerity and persistence. The dark soil, made up of volcanic layers of tufa and limestone, make Soave D.O.C. Dacastello an authentic wine with personality.
