Merlot Törggelen Le Clivie is a mellow, harmonious wine which originates in calcareous, clayey soils along the South Tyrolean Wine Road.
Made from an early-ripening grape, Merlot Törggelen Le Clivie has a distinctive aroma of wild cherries and redcurrants, making it the South Tyrolean fruity Bordeaux-style wine par excellence. In keeping with South Tyrolean tradition its name pays tribute to the grape pressing celebrations, an old country custom celebrated today in the region’s most important cellars and inns.
