Sauvignon blanc, a grape of French origin, owes its name to the fact that its leaves resemble those of wild vines. It therefore became known as sauvage vignon, meaning spontaneous vineyard. Distinctive vegetal and herbaceous notes characterise Sauvignon Blanc I.G.T. Dacastello, a pleasant and immediate white wine, with fresh notes and an interesting vibrancy of aromas.

Made from an early-ripening grape, Merlot Törggelen Le Clivie has a distinctive aroma of wild cherries and redcurrants, making it the South Tyrolean fruity Bordeaux-style wine par excellence. Greatly appreciated by Emperor Augustus, Soave is a native wine with unique colour, austerity and persistence. The dark soil, made up of volcanic layers of tufa and limestone, make Soave D.O.C. Dacastello an authentic wine with personality. In the 5th century, Cassiodorus recommended that the royal table be stocked with Veronese wines made from white grapes that were œvery suave and full-bodied, capable of expressing œclear purity, jovial candour and incredible suaveness.
