To fully appreciate the qualities of the wine, it is best drunk within 2 years.
Bouquet
A rich, complex nose driven by ripe berries, blackcurrant, and plum, complemented by subtle sweet spices and herbs.
Palate
Mid-bodied and smooth with a generous fruity structure. It features flavours of dark berries alongside soft, gentle tannins and a mild hint of pepper from the Syrah. Clean, lightly rounded, and pleasantly fruity finish.
Pairing
La Baume St Paul Cabernet Sauvignon Syrah matches perfectly with spaghetti bolognese or rich, slow-cooked pasta sauces.
It also pairs well with mature cheeses, mild cheddars, or French goat cheeses like Rocamadour.
