The label illustration is part of our Piccarda Donati Collection, which is dedicated to noble Tuscan wines. This artwork is the result of a unique collaboration with renowned Japanese artist Tetsuji Endo, who has lived in Tuscany for many years. Titled Eredità Antica (Ancient Heritage), it symbolises the renewal of life through the continuous evolution of living species, represented by the family tree. Endo’s technique combines Chinese ink, pencil, and watercolour on paper, with the paper’s ageing effect achieved through a variety of specialised methods.
