Vinification

Crafted using traditional Bordeaux methods, it is aged in French oak barrels (about one-third new oak) for 16 months with regular lees stirring.

Aging potential is up to 15 years from release.

Bouquet

A complex and aromatic bouquet with notes of violets, black cherry, and plum jam, beautifully layered with hints of vanilla, toasted oak, and delicate spices.

Palate

The palate is supple, persistent and balanced by its notes of blackberry jam and licorice.

Pairing

Perfect to drink with beef steak tartare or veal meatballs, also pairs beautifully with hearty red meats, braised lamb shanks, mushroom risottos, and duck cassoulet.
