Drinkability
Domaine Durand’s vinification process relies on minimal intervention to preserve the purity of the Sauvignon Blanc grape and showcase the unique limestone (Kimmeridgian marls and caillotes) terroir of Crézancy-en-Sancerre. It is unblended, unoaked, and meticulously handled to retain freshness and minerality.
The wine is aged on its fine lees (élevage sur lies) for roughly 3 to 5 months prior to bottling. This step adds body, complexity, and texture to the otherwise crisp and lively wine.
Bouquet
The wine features a vibrant, pale-gold color with a fresh nose of citrus, green apple, white flowers, and chalky minerality.
Palate
The palate is crisp and fruit-forward with a clean finish.
Pairing
The wine is ideal with all kinds of fresh fish and seafood. It is also perfect as an appetizer at anytime.
