Dacastello Barbera d’Asti D.O.C.G. 14,5%
From £16.80
While the Barbera grape variety is strongly linked to Piedmont’s farming tradition, Barbera d’Asti D.O.C.G. has the distinction of being one of the region’s most prestigious appellations.
Barbera d’Asti Dacastello achieves its finest expression, cultivated on hilly terrain at an altitude of 200-300 m, well exposed to the sun and in predominantly calcareous soil, offering a round and full-bodied wine with a characteristic acidic vein and soft tannins.
