The queen of southern white grapes, Falanghina arrived on the Apulian coast in the days of Magna Graecia. The Roman merchants of the time called it phalange, which meant literally œtied to the pole, referring to the vine's cultivation system. Greatly appreciated at imperial court tables in the past, Falanghina Puglia I.G.P. Dacastello is now an undisputed protagonist among Mediterranean white wines.

Sauvignon blanc, a grape of French origin, owes its name to the fact that its leaves resemble those of wild vines. It therefore became known as sauvage vignon, meaning spontaneous vineyard. Distinctive vegetal and herbaceous notes characterise Sauvignon Blanc I.G.T. Dacastello, a pleasant and immediate white wine, with fresh notes and an interesting vibrancy of aromas.

Sophisticated and characterised by considerable finesse, Gavi del Comune di Gavi D.O.C.G. Le Clivie is a wine influenced by the breeze that blows in from the Ligurian Sea and the snow from the Apennines. In the unique area of Southern Piedmont, with its white tufaceous soil and red clay, the Cortese vine, characterised by large, golden, thin-skinned grapes, takes root. Legend has it that its success at Court banquets accounts for its name, Cortese. Gavi del Comune di Gavi D.O.C.G. Le Clivie, prince among white wines, is the epitome of refined elegance.
